Physicians and Surgeons Network, Inc. (P&S Network) is a nationally recognized and URAC accredited Independent Review Organization (IRO) and Workers’ Compensation Utilization Management Organization founded in 2003, consisting of a panel of board-certified physicians.

Avrom Gart, MD, our national medical director since 2004, believes that excellence is a continuous process. A physician in active practice and board-certified in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR), as well as in Pain Medicine, Dr. Gart graduated Summa Cum Laude from Creighton University. He finished his Residency in PMR at the prestigious NYU Rusk Institute and then completed his Pain Fellowship at the UCLA Medical Center Department of Anesthesiology. Dr. Gart is a former Medical Director at the Cedars-Sinai Spine Center in Los Angeles, where he continues to be an active member of this Center of Excellence. He is also the former Medical Director of the Cedars-Sinai Workers’ Compensation Medical Provider Network.

We offer comprehensive Utilization Management Services rather a piecemeal solution. Our technology solution, Smart Utilization Review Flow (SURF), can track the requests from RFA submissions all the way to Peer Review Determinations.

P&S Network has built a secure API Management Platform (AMP) to allow seamless exchange of data with our clients and partners. Our AMP runs on Amazon Web Services cloud and allows immense scalability and sustained compliance.
